The way we breed puppies:

When we are planning a litter we look carefully for a suitably male. For us it´s important that he has proven himself as a good hunting dog, is healthy, has a good temper - calm and friendly - and look like a Labrador should do - therefore he must have a 1. price in the showring.

Long
before mating we plan our vacation and time off, so we can be sure that we have
enough time to take care of the puppies and the right socialization - which we
think is very important. It demand a huge responsability and a great deal of
work to have a litter - but all the positive respons we get from our previous
buyers gives us the believe that´s the only way for us to breed a litter.
The puppies are born inside the house - in the guestroom - and here they got peace
and quietness the following 2 weeks along with their mother. After 2 weeks we
step by step, open the rest of the house for them and now they experience the
life amoung us and the rest of the adult dogs. When they are 4 weeks old they come
outside our house in a big puppy yard, where they can play in
the daytime - they sleep inside the house all the 8 weeks they are here with us.
The puppy are socialized with children, other dogs, we test them on small tracks,
we play a CD with different noises - gun shot f.ex, they get the opportunity to
try out water, they are presented to cold game - pheasants, rabbits and maybe
deer. We try out their retrieving instinct. We take them on trips in the car, so
they get used to driving. When they are 7 weeks old we have a puppy test - and
after that we decide - along with the buyers, which puppy goes to which
home. That´s why you first know which puppy you get, in the age of 7 weeks. We
have only good experience of doing so - but special wishes of a certain puppy
will of cource be taken in with our decision.

Our puppies are chipped, dewormed, sold on a buyers agreement from DKK,
book from DKK, health certificat, some puppyfood,
and a puppybook in which we tell you how to take care of your puppy,
and you also get a dummy, a waterbowl, a little bit of a rug that have a smell
from home, and some other stuff. We have a condition that all our puppies must
be X-rayed on both hips and elbows when they are between 12 and 18 month.
If you want to be on a waiting list for one of our puppies, please phone or mail
us. We are very carefully to whome we sell our puppies and we certainly prefer
peoply who knows about the Labrador and the needs of this special breed.
